Description:
This talking GPS system is a navigation aid designed for the visually impaired as a compliment to the traditional cane or guide dog. Carry this palm-sized navigator with you, and it will pinpiont exactly where you are, guide you along a pre-set route, keep you updated on local attractions or points of interest. As you walk through the streets, the Trekker mentions points of interest, tells you street names and intersections, and lets you know where you are relative to your destination. If you inadvertantly turn onto a dead-end street, the Trekker will let you know. Get a route to your destination by entering the two addresses, and let the Trekker guide you, or consult and familiarize yourself with the provided itinerary in "Browsing Offline" mode. Voice record feature lets you record your own notes about your trip or route. The amount of information spoken by the Trekker is customizable. Weighs 1.3 lbs and measures 3.4 x 5.26 x 1 inches.
